I Can’t Be A Threat To Yvonne Nelson & Co- Abigail Dawson

Abigail Dawson

Ghanaian sexy model and popular dance icon Abigail Dawson has downplayed claims that she would be a threat to some of Ghana’s top notch and influential actresses following reports that she has joined the movie industry.
She has, however, confirmed the reports that she is now ‘flirting’ with Ghana’s movie industry and she is currently on a set.
She told NEWS-ONEyesterday that she has great passion to act and with a dint of hard work, she hoped to take the movie industry by surprise in no time.
“I believe in myself but for now I can’t say I will be a threat to any other actress. I have dedication for it and it is an inbuilt thing which comes natural. I have the drive to achieve more and I believe in myself to make it. I can be the new Oge Okoye but Yvonne Nelson is my role model,” Abigail Dawson said yesterday.
Currently, Abigail is one of the most recognised dance models in Ghana’s showbiz industry.
She has featured on a number of runway events just as music videos and also live music shows.  She danced as official dancer for some top musicians including D Black on a number of musical stages.

She added that despite she has great passion for dancing and modelling, she also wanted to firmly step her feet into the acting industry.
“I’m currently on set for an upcoming ghetto movie. You guys should just watch out for me,” she said.
Abigail Dawson, a former student of Koforidua Polytechnic and a onetime winner of the third edition of the Exopa New Faces contest, sponsored by NEWS-ONE and Allo Tigo.

She was one of the dancers who displayed some great Azonto moves at the Ghana Music Awards to over 5000 music fans and TV viewers two years ago.
She has not been able to state categorically if joining the movie industry is a way of saying goodbye to dancing and modelling.
