“Kudos to my girl, @yvonneokoro; 6 (six) nominations at AMAA And it’s only her first production...ContractIsTheISh woohoooooo,” popular TV anchor Nana Aba Anamoah also tweeted.
The likes of Amanda Jissih, Juliet Ibrahim, Majid Michel, Prince David Osei, Sandra Ankobiah, D Black, and Alexis Ntsiakoh, host of Today’s Woman, among others, have all congratulated the actress for making Ghana proud.
It would have been a no-show affair for Ghana’s movie industry at this year’s AMAAs had it not been for Yvonne’s ‘Contract’ and a short film titled, ‘Kwaku Ananse’. ‘Kwaku Ananse’ had one nomination in Best Short film category.
