The new TV show is targeted at building and helping future entrepreneurs who are currently not enjoying the best in their field of businesses.
The actress and her team will pick traders like sachet water and meat pie sellers off the streets and find out about their predicaments, then try to help them by investing in them.
Each episode of the show will be dedicated to providing a total makeover for a contestant. Sponsors including banks will invest in the trader by providing finance to support the person’s business. Also, there will be other attractive packages including working with other celebrities on their charity work.
Luckie told NEWS-ONE in an exclusive interview that she had indirectly influenced the lives of people via her roles in movies.
She said she sold sachet water earlier in life, hence she understood the predicaments of people in such situations.
“It’s another way of changing people’s lives; I used to sell pure water so I know what it is when it comes to the hardship people on the streets are facing. I want to help them. That is why I’m involved in this project. I have acted in the movies in a way to indirectly help change their lives. But this TV show is to directly affect the lives of the people as possible as I can,” Luckie emphasized.
The upcoming TV show has Spirited Actor star Umar Krupp as one of the presenters with Pascal Amanfo as the director.
Luckie started out as a businesswoman and became the owner of a restaurant and eventually an actress due to her passion for the big screens.
Later, she started her own production house called 7th Act Production and produced two movies; ‘Silence Is Golden’ and ‘Familiar Strangers’. Now she has added a TV show.
The show will be launched very soon and promises to come out with mind-blowing and interesting themes to contribute to Ghana’s entertainment industry and also touch base with local indigenes.
Luckie insists that her show is different from the others on Ghanaian TV screens.
