TOURISM FAIR HELD IN LONDON -ENGLAND

The Tourism Fair known as the World Travel Market that held in London each year has started since 4th up to 7th November, 2013. A total of 47 companies from Tanzania have participated in this year Tourism Fair under the organization and supervision of Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB).
This year Tourism Fair held while Tanzania has recently recognized by different international institutions for its Best Tourist Attractions and improvement of tourism in different areas. The World Economic Forum mentioned Tanzania as the Second country after Brazil for the best wildlife areas rich in wild animals diversity. The Lonely Planet and the New York Times mentioned Tanzania as the Best Country to be visited for natural attractions. The Seven Natural Wonders announced three tourist attractions from Tanzania namely; Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Mount Kilimanjaro among the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Another institution Safari Bookings.com from Netherland mentioned Tanzania as the Best Safari Country of Africa.
Recently, a research conducted by CheapOAir shows Tanzania as the first country to be visited by the mid-income tourists after the reduction of airline fees by 6% while fees from the neighboring competitors  country increases. The main reason  for the reduction of airline fees is due to the competition posed by different Air Operators that land in KIA like KLM, Qatar Airways and Turkish Airlines. Other Air Operators includes Kenya Airways and Ethiopia Airlines.
Tour Operators explained the possibility in the increase of the number of tourists to 1,077,058 that reached in 2012. They also said that tourist bookings have increased to 50% this year compared to 2012. It's because of this it is expected that by December 2013 tourist number will increase by 20%.
England is one of the leading tourist market for Tanzania in which 70,000 tourists visited Tanzania in 2012. This year tourism fair (WTM) is one of the way in which Tanzania uses to promote its tourist attractions and  enable the increase in the number  visitors from England and other countries in the world.
