It was one of a kind party with some of the most loved names in Africa’s movie industry passing through. But not most of them respected the dress code for the party.
There had been series of parties during the festival but the Thursday event seemed the mother of all.
Among celebrated names who attended the ceremony were Ramsey Nouah, Oge Okoye, Kate Henshaw, OC Ukeje, Lydia Forson, Wale Ojo, Kunle Afolayan, Chioma Akpotha, Omoni Oboli and a host of others.
Also present was Governor of Cross River State, Senator Liyel Imoke who ahead of the party said, “We glad to be a part of this festival and we look forward to seeing you all in Calabar once again.”
Though some of guests disregarded the white dress code for the evening, it was a touch of white dominating night out. It began at about 9pm with a red carpet session where delegates posed for the cameras and for interviews before they entered the main party ground. There was enough good music, drink and savories to party with. Ramsey and Kunle put smiles on the faces of a lot of people at the party with their dance steps.
