The Contract For Nigeria Cinemas In March

Actress turned producer Yvonne Okoro is preparing to take her first movie, ‘The Contract’ outside the shores of Ghana.

Its Nigeria premiere is scheduled for Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja, Lagos.

Dates for the South Africa and Canada premieres are yet to be announced.

The movie is directed by Shirley Frimpong Mansoand stars Yvonne Okoro, Joseph Benjamin, Amanorbea Dodoo and South African actor Hlomla Dandla.

‘The Contract’ tells the story of a successful bachelor who prefers non-committal casual dates despite his mother’s plea that he gets a wife. He finally decides to have a child on a contract basis, which results in a complex situation.

The movie’s cinema release in Ghana has broken records. It was first premiered on December 29 at the National Theatre and subsequently showed at the Silverbird Ghana Cinemas.

Last weekend, it’s screening in Kumasi at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology attracted a lot of movie enthusiasts.
