ETV’s Samantha Celebrates Ghanaian Fabrics

Samantha
ETV Ghana is celebrating the second edition of its flagship event dubbed “Made in Ghana Month”, an initiative to encourage the public to celebrate and patronise Ghana-made products and services.
Pretty Samantha Wuta-Ofei, a news anchor with the station who often rocks her fabulous Ghanaian-made fabric talks about how she views the celebrations.
Samantha said from her point of view, she believes “Made in Ghana Month” is a very commendable effort by ETV Ghana as she believes it will drive home the patriotic agenda. “If we continue to support our own, as a country, it will ultimately lead to an increase in the use of local products and services which will, in turn, create opportunities that will grow our economy.”
“I have passion for fashion and thus I have my designer busily designing dozens of fantastic clothing for me to keep on rocking all month long,” she has revealed on how she is contributing to mark the significance of the initiative.
“I love Ghana and as a media person who is on TV every now and then, I believe I need to send out the message on my views and my way is to look fabulous in my sizzling Ghanaian fabric,” Samantha said, but admitted that she is still not fluent in her native language, Ga, which she is trying to learn now.
Samantha has lived in the UK almost all of her life and decided to move to her beloved motherland last year to further her career and contribute her quota to the Ghanaian media.
She can be spotted live on ETV Ghana on Mondays and Thursdays adding a spice of the London-feel to the news of ETV Ghana’s breakfast show with presenters like Bismark Brown and Rashida Nasaamu.
