Ghana’s R&B sensation Fianko Bossman popularly known as Chase has announced that the release of his much anticipated full album will be in August, this year.
“I’m putting things in proper place. The album is for August,” Chase assured his fan base from his hideout in the United of State of America, Tuesday.
The ‘Fire’ crooner touched the hearts of many lovers on St. Valentine's Day, February 14, this year, with the release of his last single titled, 'Marry Me Tonite'.
The song was specially released for lovers and was comprehensively downloaded across the country as well as Nigeria, United Kingdom and United State of America.
The single comes ahead of other anticipated singles before the main album release in August.
Chase is a Ghanaian based recording artist and songwriter born in June 24, in the mid-eighties, in Hackney Town, London.
He grew up listening to the likes of Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Paul Simon, Milli Vanilli, Usher, Bobby Brown and Boyz2Men, to name a few.

At the age of 10, Chase had already started writing song verses and performing any chance he got. He participated in every talent show organized by his school. In the year 2000, he joined a rap group called Souljas Inn and was considered one of the best battle rappers in Ghana.
Souljas Inn’s first single, ‘One Day’ was featured as a soundtrack in Shirley Frimpong Manso’s film, ‘Perfect Picture’.
Even as a business major in High School, Chase kept on with his song writing and made the transition from writing rap songs to R&B songs.

However, it wasn’t until college that Chase started expressing himself as an R&B singer. He sang at a cousin’s birthday party in 2005 and his silky, smooth voice came as a surprise to most people, who knew him as a rapper. The positive feedback he received made him hang his gloves as a rap star, and focus on song writing and singing.
Chase is a prolific songwriter and has written songs for numerous Ghanaian superstars including Becca, D-Black (a 2009 Channel-O award nominee), Jane of "Stars of the Future" fame, Mimi of "Big Brother Africa” fame, Adina of Stars of the Future" fame and Richie of Lynx Entertainment. He has also performed on the same stage with well acclaimed international stars like Mario and Shontelle from the United States.
The artiste was nominated twice for the recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA 2012), and won Male Video of the Year at the 4Syte Music Video Awards.
His songs ‘Finally’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Tell me your name’, and ‘Fire’ are currently enjoying constant rotation on radio stations throughout Ghana. Chase currently has two videos showing on all major Ghanaian TV networks, and foreign networks such MuchMusic, VH1 Soul, Channel O, Trace, and MTV.
The artiste is set to drop his album in the second quarter of 2013. Collaborations on the album include Efya, Tiffany, Sarkodie, J.Town, Paedae, Mugeez, Guru, and with production from Gafacci, E.L, Killbeatz, Jayso, Richie, and Guilty.
