Hotels, brothels and movie rooms also get over booked by lovers who want to do their own thing.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with NEWS-ONE on Monday, the sexy actress said Ghanaians should rethink about the essence of Valentine Day because it was not just about sex.
“It is day set aside to remind us of the importance of love. A lot of people narrow it down to just romantic love which is cool but I think it should be broadened to reflect how deep and important it is to receive and give love to as many people as you can possibly reach,” she added.
She told NEWS-ONE she celebrated Valentine’s Day but not in a sexual way.
On Val’s Day, she will be working but she will make time to celebrate with her boyfriend.
“… (laughing) it will just be another normal working day for me, but I will spend time with my guy later after work. I might attend the premiere of ‘Adams Apples’ season 2 at the Conference Centre as well.”
Like any lover on Val’s Day, Zynnell said she had a surprise for her man whose identity she would not disclose.
Millions of lovers around the world will be celebrating Val’s Day tomorrow February 14. In Ghana, there are a number of planned events to celebrate the day.
Zynnell is one of Ghana’s award winning actresses who has been around for quite some time but has been maintaining a low profile for reasons best known to her.
The actress had a stint with the movie industry in 2004 when she featured in the TV series, ‘Sticking To The Promise’.
She has since acted in a number of Ghanaian movies including Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed ‘Different Shades of Blue’, ‘Life and Living It’, ‘Adams Apples’, Venus Film’s ‘Seduction’, ‘Single Six’, ‘Wannabe’, ‘Deadline’, ‘Temptation’ and ‘For Better For War’.
