Lydia Forson Supports Africa's Best Actress Rita Dominic

Lydia Forson & Rita Dominic

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson was one of the top celebrities at the premiere of ‘The Meeting’, a new movie starring Africa’s reigning
actress, Rita Dominic.
Last week, NEWS-ONE reported that Lydia was the only Ghanaian invited for the occasion. She rocked a local design by Orjis Collection.
Sources said the event was successful, with Genevieve Nnaji, Dbanj, 2Face Tiwa Savage and a number of other celebrities in attendance.
The star-studded premiere was held on Saturday in Lagos at Silverbird Cinema, Galleria.
‘The Meeting’ was Rita Dominic’s first major movie after she won Africa’s Best Actress Award at the last African Movie Academy Awards.
Currently, some Africans are eager to see the movie and review her performance.
The new movie’s impressive cast includes Jide Kosoko, Basorge Tariah Jnr, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe Etim, Chinedu Ikedieze, Chika Chukwu and new interesting faces.
Described as an award-winning movie, it is a story about a Lagos-based corporate executive, Makinde Esho, who finds himself at the mercy of political patronage, bureaucratic red-tape and his tender heart when he embarks on a one-day business trip to Abuja to secure a government contract. The rest of the story will definitely be told after movie enthusiasts see the movie for themselves.
