South Kalimantan


1. Floating Market
Banjar traditional market activities, which is where the sale and purchase of agricultural, plantation and fisheries with the community and other retailers located in the District Municipality of Banjarmasin Alalak. These activities take place every day starting at 5:00 until 7:00 pm.

2. Intan scrub

Located in District Cempaka, Banjar District, which is an activity of the miners and diamond polisher traditionally, at this location the largest diamond ever found in Indonesia and diamonds by the First President was given the name Diamond Trisakti.

3. Barito Bridge

It is one of the longest bridges (± 1 km) in Southeast Asia over the River that connects the district of Barito Barito Kuala (South Kalimantan) with Kapuas (Central Kalimantan).

4. Intan scrub Development Project (P3I)
KOPEBI business unit of Banjarmasin, which serves as a training center for traditional diamond craftsmen, showrooms and sales centers Martapura diamonds.

5. Waterfall Loksado

Is a tourist attraction located in the foothills Meratus with unspoilt natural situation. In addition, there are real-life Meratus traditional Dayak. Object is situated in the district of South River Upstream, with its capital at Kandangan (Approximately 4 hours drive from Banjarmasin).

6.Bendungan Right Riam
Is a tourist attraction located at Banjar district. There Tambel cottage (the former residence of the dam making workers originating from Japan). In addition, there are pine forests and pristine fishing complex is managed by PT PLN Region VI.

7. Proboscis Monkey

Is the specific animals from South Kalimantan. This animal is one species of ape which is protected because its population is growing slightly.
